Graduating from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Media Arts, I have been a freelance audio professional for many years now. I started my career at VMG Studios (now defunct) in Atlanta Georgia as an intern, and then assistant engineer. Eventually, in 2008 I moved to Charlotte NC, and I began writing and recording my own music. That lead me to begin producing and recording other artists as a freelance engineer out of my project studio. I've also worked in live sound environments including music venues, churches, and music festivals.
I've been working in podcasting since 2019. Starting out with Queen City Podcast Network, recording live panels, producing episodes in the studio, and then moving into handling post production for some of the network podcasts. Since the beginning of 2021, I've been working with Gohjo Studios, another local podcast business in Charlotte NC. I'm working with multiple clients of theirs, handling post production.
I've also been taking on clients of my own locally and nationally for the past few years. I'm typically working remotely as an editor and engineer creating audio and video deliverables. I also work in person recording tape syncs, live sound production, as well as consulting on studio design and best practices for podcasting, audio engineering, and content creation in general.
